The Incredible Hulk third season (1979-1980) continued the interesting mix of melancholy and the auditorium-destroying action, which usually begins in particular the public, while exploring new ways of telling the story of David Banner (Bill Bixby) and his attempt to tame the monster (Lou Ferrigno) in him. Most episodes follow the Fugitive as part of previous seasons, with Banner always involved in tragedies large and small for his lonely road through the cour…

The third season of The Incredible Hulk in many ways better than Seasons One and Two. The stories are here, all together more entertaining than in the second season and there is less weight. You can also get a clearer picture David Banner and (very nice), Jack McGee. But one thing I miss here, two PARTERS. Season two had married the co-incidents "and
"Mystery Man", which were designed to Feature Film. Here's the episode "Homecoming" might have been a two-parter. David finds his way back home and is with his sister and father, that he has always been responsible for the death of his mother did. This is a great episode, the only flaw is that it is too short.
Highlights here are some great "The Snare" and "The Psychic", two episodes are outstanding. "The Snare" raise the plot of the story "The Game Most Dangerous", shot several times. A hermit on a desert island hunter David invites you to spend the night and before you know it, David is fighting for his life for hunters are bored with hunting animals. "The Psychic" is very exciting with some incredibly sad undertone. Bixby's ex-wife Brenda Benet plays the psychic who can see what it is and David have provided, even the death of Jack McGee is imminent. Those who know something about life in Bixby, know that Rückmeldesystem Benet committed suicide a year after the death of his son Christopher. "were transmitted through the Psychic" Benet shortly after Bixby and a divorce difficult. Both give good performances here.
Some episodes that weighs as I found very funny. "blind rage" was an exciting episode in which David is blind, "The Slam" was an amusing episode in which David is arrested and sent to a labor camp. This episode also stars Robert Davi, and Charles Napier. Soft episodes such as "Long Road Home" and "Falling Angels", which are not so good, and I found it very funny.
"Broken Image", "Death Mask" and episodes of "Equinox" are also excellent. "Broken Image" is where personally meet banners and McGee, "Death Mask" is where Banner is suspected of numerous killings and Equinox, where corners McGee banner in costume. Are all great. It is also great, a whole episode devoted entirely Jack McGee in "Proof Positive" and the late Jack Colvin see is there, as always.
The guest star in the third season are much better than in the previous two seasons. There are a lot more consistency in the department to act here, with the support of stakeholders, and that one of the things that is particularly plagued the second season. Bradford Dillman was a great villain in "The Snare" Paul Koslo is especially attractive in "The Long Road Home" is Robert Hogan as the fraudsters mediocre episode, "The Lottery" wonderful, Brenda Benet is suspended " ;, The Psychic, "Gerald McRaney is very good and creepy in" Death Mask ", Marc Alaimo has shown some strong action" nine hours "and John Marley was fantastic banner is the father in" Homecoming. " One episode is getting better, with good performances from its guest stars, and there is no shortage of that here.
Not many episodes are boring, but if I had someone that I had with "Babalao go" and the name of "Sideshow." These were below average.
Overall this is a strong season of The Incredible Hulk. Bill Bixby did not waver even as David Banner, Jack Colvin as Jack McGee and Lou Ferrigno is excellent for the task.

Classic TV!
Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno did a great job on the show. Too bad that CBS executives thought the show was too expensive – would be gone for a few more good years.
I am in my late 30s, so I was around 8 or so, when the Incredible Hulk first appeared on television in the late '70s / early '80s. I have few memories of some of the episodes and watched them again after so long is pretty cool.
If you are out of the Hulk, if you were a child or if you want to show with your children, how well you use the television, picking up a copy of the Hulk. You will not be disappointed.
